An Overnight hike to Freeman Mills Campground Bunyip State Park
Trip Leader: Robert Daley
I’m inviting you to an overnight hike at Freeman Mills Campground. It’s a beginner-level hike that’s perfect for testing out gear and socialising.
The campground is only accessible on foot, so we’ll be doing a 6km hike from the Bunyip River Road car park.
We’ll meet up at the Gembrook Town Hall at 10:00am. Then will convoy to the Bunyip River Road car park once everybody has arrived. We can also get coffee and supplies in Gembrook before we leave.
Here’s a list of things to bring:
Remember, everyone will have to carry their own equipment in and out. This includes rubbish.
